Reverend Durante Neal - Youth & Street Ministries

Rev. Durante Neal is a 26 year old God-fearing, powerful praying man of the word. Rev. Neal is Director of the Street Ministry and van driver. Rev. Neal is a lifelong resident of Dallas, Georgia. He accepted his calling in the ministry in March of 2003. Rev. neal is also a faithful Youth Minister and he enjoys working with the children.

Minister Yolanda Washington

Minister Yolanda Washington is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from Florida A&M University in August 2000. She also received her Master of Education Degree in Counselor Education with a concentration in both Mental Health and School Guidance in August 2005. Minister Washington has a passion for helping others and is a willing and obedient servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. She is also the mother of three very active sons. Habakkuk 2:1 "I will stand upon my watch and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved."

Elder: Jeffery L. Jackson

Rev. Jeffery L. Jackson was born In Newburgh New York on Feb. 26, 1966. He served as a musician at the House of Joy, of First Born Church of God inc. during the time that he was in New York, attending Orange County Community College. He later relocated to South Georgia in 1993 and joined Joy Temple, of Celebration of Praise Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Q.S. Caldwell.
Rev. Jackson was called into the ministry in 1994 when he later married Ms. Lekisha Jackson in Sept. of 1994. During the 18 years of marriage Rev. Jackson, and his wife were blessed with two sons, Antaurio Jackson & Adrian Jackson. He relocated to the Hiram in June of 2006 where he current resides. The Jackson family are now active members of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor – Rev. Dr. Jeffery R. Wimbush, Sr.

Minister Jackson Lackey

Jackson Dwayne Lackey, Sr. was born and raised in Marietta, GA. He attended the University of Georgia in Atlanta Ga where he received a Certificate of Completion in Supervisor Development.. He has served over 20 years as a certified Parks & Recreation official. He is experienced in Softball, Basketball, and Baseball Officiating. Jackson is a former Division II Chattahoochee Tech and middle school basketball coach and now coaches an AAU Basketball team. Jackson also received the NAACP Outstanding Community Service award He currently serves as the Male Chorus President at Sweet Home Baptist. He is married with 6 children, and 3 grandchildren.

Minister Crystle Lackey

Minister Crystle Lackey is a native of Clarksville, TN who accepted Christ as her Saviour at the young age of 12 years old. Min. Lackey moved to Dallas, GA in 2004 with her three children Taylor, Darrian and Kiara. Min. Lackey is currently attending Andersonville Theological Seminary majoring in Christian Education. She accepted her calling to preach the gospel in 2010 standing on Job 23:10 “For he knows the way that I take and when he is done with me I shall come forth as pure gold. You can also find Min. Lackey actively involved in the Usher Ministry, Van Ministry, Sunday School, Youth Department and Girl Scouts.

Crystal Lackey

Rev. Frederick L. Dean - Senior Citizen Ministry

Rev. Dean is a native of Rome Ga.  He accepted his call to the ministry on April 8th 1989.  He has achieved his Associates Degree in Computer Science & Business ( Coosa Valley Technical), Business Management ( Floyd College), Business Management ( Georgia Tech). 
He enrolled into Covington Seminary Theological School  Master's Program; as he received his Master's in Couseling and Religion.
He is married to a Mrs. Patricia Dean and together they have three beautiful daughters Jessica, Shalandia & Shae.

Minister Lurlene Sims

Minister Lurlene Sims a native of Rome, Georgia, accepted her call into the ministry September 2000 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jeffery R. Wimbush, Sr. Minister Sims loves the Lord and does not mind teaching and preaching the unadulterated word of God.

Reverend Angelene Sexton

Angelene Sexton is married to her childhood sweetheart, Jerome Sexton and the mother of Desirea Bryant. She is a blessed humble servant of God, loves the Lord and his children. She stands boldly teaching and preaching the good news (the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ). Most importantly, she has a "BA" which is born again and filled with the Holy Spirit." She has achieved her Associates of Arts degree in Business Health-care Management, Bachelors in Urban Economic Development with a dual major in Biblical Studies. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Leadership at Luther Rice Seminary. She serves as the President of the Evangelism Ministry. She uses her talents throughout Sunday School and Children's Church.

Rev. Dr. Myranda Flemister - President, Women's Ministry

Rev. Dr. Myranda Flemister accepted her call in the ministry in May 2004. She was licensed to preach in July 2004 and ordained in January 2008. She has an AA Degree in Biblical Studies, a BA Degree in Ministry, a Master’s Degree in Divinity with Pastoral Leadership, a Doctor Degree in Christian Education. She is a Certified Pastoral Counselor and has received her certification in Clinical Pastoral Education. She serves under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Jeffery R. Wimbush, Sr., as President for the SHMBC Women’s Ministry. She also serves as VP on the Board of Directors for Cobb Christmas, a non-profit organization affiliated with Cobb Family & Children Resources, in a collaborative effort to make a difference and positive impact in the lives of those we serve in our communities who are hurting, struggling, less fortunate and in need. She is born again, baptized and anointed with the Holy Ghost embracing the love of God in her heart as a faithful, humble and obedient servant reflecting genuine compassion and tender loving care toward all mankind. Her motto is to ‘let the life she lives and the works she do to always speak and represent HIM.’"As he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some, evangelist; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the statue of the fullness of Christ." Reverend Bryant White - Youth Pastor

Bryant White was born in Los Angeles, CA then moved to Natchez, MS.
Baptized at the age of 7, he attended Mississippi State University (All-SEC Track & Field) and Andersonville Theological Seminary (B.A. Divinity and Masters in Biblical Studies). He became an ordained deacon at Sweet Home in 1997 and received the Call to Preach the Word of God July 3, 1998. He received his doctorate from Andersonville Theological Seminary and currently working on a CPE certification. Loves God and God's people. His wife, Sandra, and son Bryant Ja'Ron, are also active at Sweet Home.
